At our head office in Dyce, our facility resides on a 1.8-acre site close to Aberdeen Airport. This site holds our main sales & administrative offices along with a large workshop and storage areas. Within our workshop we have a fully equipped machine shop with welding & pressure testing facilities.
Our site offers good access for movement of large items with internal cranage and impressive yard storage.
Autogenous & Orbital Welding
Autogenous welding of subsea control lines in tubing from 6mm to 38mm Ø with a wall thickness range of 0.8mm to 5.54mm in materials such as AISI 316L, Monel 400, Inconel 625 & UNS 32760
Cladding
Corrosion resistant weld cladding (Inconel 625, 316L) on to high yield carbon steels (AISI 4130, AISI 8630, A350 LF2, API 5LX65.). We have a floor mounted rotary table with a capacity range up to and including 10 tonnes. The equipment is available for the cladding of a broad range of products such as xmas tree block forgings, valve bodies & valve bonnets using the gas tungsten arc (cold & hot wire).
Fabrication
We have a full range of process pipe work for both topsides and subsea applications in both carbon steel and exotic materials (eg. UNS 32760). We have dedicated clean areas for the welding & fabrication of exotic materials. In addition to spool fabrication we manufacture control system pipe work for various types of equipment such as H.P.U.’s, xmas trees and stab plate assemblies.
Machining
Fully equipped machining, service, repair and maintenance facility with (see equipment inventory below).
Testing & Flushing
Full in-house hydrostatic test capabilities up to 25,000 psi. Mobile hi-performance flushing & testing rigs up to 15,000 psi / 17 litre per min. capacity.
Offshore / On-site Support
When required our fully equipped and certified containerised workshop can be deployed to virtually any location, including offshore. This gives our client and us the flexibility to perform most tasks such as servicing, overhauls, testing & certification on-site without the need for the valve to be returned to the workshop.
