L&N have developed a health & safety management system in accordance with HSG 65 and invest a large amount of resources to ensure a safe working environment.
Quality Management System
It is the objective of L&N (Scotland) Ltd. to provide products/services of consistent quality to meet the expectations and needs of its customers/clients and to ensure compliance with the applicable codes, standards and regulatory requirements. We identify and communicate our quality objectives to all personnel to achieve complete customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. Our technical expertise and advice are available to our customers at all times. L&N (Scotland) were accredited to BS EN ISO 9001 by BM Trada in 1997 who have continued to monitor the effectiveness of our management system to date.
We have developed our performance improvement reports and monitoring system to record, monitor and measure the effectiveness of our own and our suppliers’ quality & safety performance including such elements as: safety concerns, process failures, non conformances & improvement opportunities. These records are used to ensure our QMS and supplier performance is continually improved and evaluated for effectiveness.
In addition L&N also use First Point Assessment Limited (FPAL) as a means for monitoring customer feedback.
Health & Safety
L&N is committed to the protection and welfare of our employees, our sub-contractors and members of the public. We have developed a comprehensive health & safety management system in accordance with HSG 65 and actively promote a safe working culture.
Our procedures & policies are continually reviewed to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
Environment
L&N recognise our duty of care to the environment and wherever possible strive to keep our waste to a minimum, promote re-cycling, and aim to keep our carbon emissions to a minimum.
L&N are working towards a fully integrated quality, health, safety & environmental management system accredited additionally to ISO 14001 and OHAS 18001
