At L&N we take privacy very seriously. Throughout the data collection process, all necessary steps are taken to ensure that data is used only according to the purposes that L&N has clearly stated.

1. All terms used in the Privacy Policy are as defined in the Terms and Conditions of the site.

6. Users can access the data held on them by contacting L&N in writing or by e-mail, subject to a nominal charge of £10, as authorised by the Act, to cover administration costs.

7. Users’ details may be transferred to another L&N company or to the new owner if ownership of L&N changes.

8. http://www.lnscotland.com may use cookies. Users may choose not to accept cookies but this may prevent proper functioning of the site.

9. Whenever a user requests a page, username, IP address, browser and version and operating system are stored in a log file. This information is only used for statistical purposes to help improve this site and provide accurate statistics in the form of aggregated data.

Whilst we strive to protect user’s personal information, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be totally secure and thus L&N cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information it may process as part of the site. L&N cannot guarantee that third party services accessible through http://www.lnscotland.co.uk/ operate the same Privacy Policy.

11. L&N reserves the right to update and change this Privacy Policy at any time. However, L&N will not use information submitted by a user under this current notice in a way not currently described herein without also notifying the user of such change, and giving the user an opportunity to opt-out, or otherwise prevent that new use of your information.
